Hush will soon be launching a unique new music pre-testing tool for commercials to improve and add clarity to the music selection process, making it more effective for agencies and brands.

In partnership with the worlds’ leading music review platform and using test methodologies developed by one of the world’s foremost academic researchers into brand-music effectiveness, our music pre-testing tool will be able to test music tracks against a target audience, capturing their emotional responses to the music and measuring how well these align with the campaign or brand profile.

Individual intuition can take you far with music, but it won’t tell you whether a target audience is going to like a piece of music or whether it helps to reinforce a campaign or brand objectives. And how can brands and agencies choose from a shortlist of tracks when differing personal opinions from various stakeholders are unable agree? Using the same research techniques employed by major record labels for commercial releases, our music pre-testing tool will provide agencies and brands with objective data to help them assess potential music choices and make informed choices.
